What is PADI Advanced Open Water Course?

  • You have passed your PADI Open Water Diver. Congrats! The real diving lies ahead with adventure diving.

  • Harness more skills by going deeper, understanding how to control your buoyancy, when to descent and ascend.

  • Advanced Diving is all about bringing the fun elements while achieving it through add-on skills.

  • At thescubagiant, we offer not just the regular 5 dives (2 compulsory + 3 adventure dives)

  • Compulsory:

  • Deep Diver

  • Underwater Navigation

  • +3 adventure dives

Who can take PADI Advanced Open Water Course?

Pre-requisite

  • 12 to 14 years for the PADI Junior Advanced Open Water

  • 15 years + for the PADI Advanced Open Water Dive Course

  • PADI Open Water Diver Certified or equivalent

What will you learn?

  • Deep Diving (Compulsory)

  • Underwater Navigation (Compulsory)

  +3 more add-ons

  • Boat Diving

  • Peak Performance Buoyancy

  • Night Diving

  • Drift Diving

What does the course fee consist of?

  • 1x Theory Lesson + Exam

  • 1x Pool Lesson*

  • 1x Dive Equipment rental (pool only)

  • Dive logbook

  • PADI e-card

  • Instructor & Certification Fees

What is excluded in the course fee?

  • Marine Park Fee RM30 to M'sia Govt

  • Meals in Tioman (Appx RM60-80)

  • 2-way Ferry from Tg Gemok to Tioman (RM120-150)​​

  • Accomodation 2D1N in Tioman (RM150-250)

Approximately SGD100-150

How do i pass the course?

  • Complete Theory & Knowledge Review

  • Complete satisfactory 5 Open Sea Training Dives

How do i Sign up?

  • The Scuba Giant is strictly by referral only. If your friend is part of The Scuba Giant members, get in touch for referrals. As we are a club/community, we do not do outreach to public. Information on this website is for your info only.

  • We also only take in students who have done course(s) with us in the past

The Course Fee

  • The Course Fee is SGD 650

** The Scuba Giant do not arrange travel arrangements, all the travel arrangements are booked by ScubaAce and payable to ScubaAce upon arrival at Tioman

Travel Fees

  • Travel Fees are SGD 100-150 for ferry tickets, 2D1N twin-sharing room in Tioman

  • Payable to ScubaAce​
